to hear the LBUSD school board candidates running for office in the November 5, 2024 election.

Bring your curiosity and your questions to help you make your decision on who you feel best represents your values.

Fall 2024 Wine & Cheese

Let’s Get Wild about WCLB!

Join us for our Fall Wine and Cheese on September 26 for an event that is sure to be un-fur-gettable!

The event, “Let’s Get Wild about WCLB,” is safari-themed and will be a fun and memorable way to reconnect and socialize with our members while learning the latest news about the Women’s Club for the fall.

The event is complimentary for all members, and their guests. We are supporting the Laguna Beach Food Pantry at the event and their belief that “No One Should Go Hungry.” A list of requested food items will be available on our website and on the back of the invitation (see below). You may also write a check for the Food Pantry and leave it at the Wine and Cheese. Additionally, we will be holding raffles that night for a wonderful basket of goodies and other great prizes. Tickets can be purchased at the Wine and Cheese, and all proceeds from the raffle will go to the Food Pantry. Raffle tickets are $5 for 1 ticket and $10 for 3 tickets. Come enjoy a great night with your friends from WCLB!

Love Laguna Beach

Community Outreach Volunteer Opportunity

Saturday. October 5, 2024

Please join us as a volunteer representing WCLB at the city’s Love Laguna Beach Event.

We’ll participate in the Love Laguna Beach kick-off at the Suzi Q at 8am and then make our way to Main Beach for a beach clean-up at 9:15.

Monthly Events

Join our welcoming groups where dynamic women come together for monthly events. Forge new connections and create meaningful moments within our extraordinary community.

Join our Member’s Walking Group for an easy walk in different spots in Laguna Beach and surrounding areas. The walk is generally 60 - 90 minutes. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, and water, and be ready for some great conversations with your exercise.

We have TWO Book Clubs!
Tuesday Night Club: Alternates between nonfiction and fiction, selecting books with a current literary bent based on The New York Times reviews and Best Sellers lists.
When: This group meets on the 2nd Tuesday from 5:00 - 6:30 pm—meetings are held at the Clubhouse.

Monday Night Club: This group reads a variety of books, including fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, and thrillers. Members supply wine and snacks and pick the next book.
When: The Monday Group meets on the 3rd Monday from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Meetings are held at the Clubhouse.

Meet your friends, make new ones, and win prizes! A minimal fee is charged for the use of 1 or 3 cards per game.
When: 4th Monday at the Clubhouse.

Have some fun, laugh, and connect with other gamers! The game is rotated by the team, and members bring food and wine. Please be sure to RSVP.

Wine and Cheese Events

We host two seasonal "Wine and Cheese" events each year, Spring and Fall. These events are a favorite among members, offering a chance to enjoy delicious appetizers, a variety of cheeses, and wines while catching up on club news and each other’s lives.

Woman of the Year Luncheon

Members nominate and vote on a local woman who personifies Laguna Beach. This event honors the winners achievements and is held in June.

Holiday Luncheon

This spirited event celebrates the festive season. It also supports our Outreach Programs through the Paddle Raise.

Out-going Mayor Luncheon

In years where appropriate, this event honors the out-going Mayor. It is held in February and is well attended by the entire Laguna Beach community.

We had a wonderful turn-out for our Spring 2024 Wine & Cheese. Thank you to everyone who came to the event. A special thanks goes out to those who participated in the donation of toiletry items for the women at the Friendship Shelter. We received over 150 items! The generosity of our members is amazing!
